About TACT:

Our mission here at TACT is to provide apprentices with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need for a successful career in the electrical trade. TACT apprentices will learn from instructors who are not only knowledgeable in the classroom, but also have over 20 years of personal experience in the electrical field! Our instructors strive to keep all apprentices on track and progressing through the program. This involves mentoring and one-on-one support to accommodate the individual learning needs of each apprentice. TACT combines on-the-job experience, classroom hours, and continuing education courses, all of which are essential to fulfilling our mission: graduating apprentices with the expertise necessary for lifelong success as an electrician!

 

TACT Apprentice Job Description:

A TACT apprentice will work as a paid employee of Tradesmen Electric! On-the-job training prepares you to become a licensed journeyman, while also providing you with a steady paycheck! Apprentices will work under the supervision of a journeyman electrician, learning the fundamentals and obtaining more tasks and responsibilities as they progress. Tradesmen values strong worth ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability operate as a part of the team!

  • Monthly Saturday hands-on Labs.
  • 4-year program at no cost to you! Classes are one night a week from September to June.

Qualifications:

  • Must be age 18 or older.
  • Must be a high school or equivalent graduate and have a copy of diploma.
  • Must have a “C” or better for one year of Algebra.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to provide professional customer relations with general contractors, inspectors, vendors, sub-contractors and field employees.
  • Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, background and driving check.
  • Apprentice must be an employee of Tradesmen Electric, Inc.
